Classic & Refined
The team worked on a design concept derived from a combination of vernacular and modern architecture in Myanmar to present the new era of tropical Asian architecture.
Its interior design language unfolds around classic furniture with detailing such as inlay, carvings and turned legs as well as pieces with ornate detailing. Patterns are largely repetitive to echo symmetry and the floral or fauna influenced by the local landscape.
A rich colour palette paired with heavy fabrics that have texture and subtle patterns, and stripes mixed with blocks of colours, dominate the villa’s inner spaces, contributing to a stately and regal ambiance befitting a national landmark.
