”Designing is a multi-faceted form of art in which creative and technical solutions are applied to create a space into a beautiful and functional environment. It’s not just about selling the space or décor, it is about selling the experience as well. The creativity it can exhibit is endless.”

Quiet Reflections

In the revitalizing of this Buddhist temple on Moulmein Road, the design approach aims to stimulate worship activities and evolve as a place for gathering for the community.

Due care and diligence were given to preserve its traditional and religious components. From the entrance, a traditional colour scheme is maintained, existing roof and pillar structures have been used to focus the perspective on the main temple. With a fresh take, the temple is reborn as a new space for prayer, and as a beloved landmark in the area.
